We pride ourselves on using hand selected, local and independent WA suppliers in our gastropub.

This includes delicious fish and seafood fresh from our coast and arriving on your plate ready to be devoured.

Our seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables are immersed within every plate of food that leaves our kitchen with an assurance that taste and flavour are of the highest quality. Plus our hand-crafted cheeses are specially selected to compliment not only our drinks menu but also every scrumptious dish they are set within. Our selected meats are sourced from suppliers who value their produce and focus on naturally grazing their stock, ensuring valuable trace elements are maintained, resulting in the finest cuts that you’ll find on your plate.

If you’re not that keen on craft beers, we have also selected a range of larger Australian and International bottled beers.

We offer a varied range of wines from small batch & minimal intervention to more main stream classics.

And our spirits have been sourced from boutique distillers using only the finest natural ingredients from around the world.

About our Gastro pub

When creating the interior for YOUR LOCAL, our focus was on ensuring every person that enters the space has a sense of belonging. Given our venue sits within a character-filled building in Subiaco’s heritage precinct, this meant a lot of hard work and creativity.

Hailing back to 1899 and classified as a federation free classical style building, it wasn’t always destined to be a gastropub. Originally, it was home to a drapers and then a chemist. Plus it was situated very close to the first tram stop connecting Subiaco to the city. Heading into the 1930’s it was known as ‘Con’s Valu House’ or ‘Con’s Corner Shop’.

In more recent times it was formerly known as the Purl Bar and then the Spruce Goose before becoming abandoned and in need of a lot of love. Following a 12 week transformation, Your Local was born with an elegant vibrancy and welcoming buzz.

We are looking for happy bar and wait staff who enjoy working within a team to provide our customers with wonderful service. Ideally, you will have the following skills:

A team player who can multi-task, and work proactively under pressure
A keen interest and good knowledge of craft beers, wines, cocktails and quality food
Experience working in gastro pub / pub venues
Must hold current RSA and have completed the AHA Hospitality and Tourism COVID 19 hygiene course
Honest and reliable with a passion to work with our exciting team in our outstanding venue
